We are so proud of our U14 team, who played their hearts out at the @intlnetballclassic tournament last weekend and gained valuable experience to take into future games. With limited scheduled match time in the tournament, the Fury team worked to secure two extra friendlies to maximise court time — one leading to a memorable PA announcement that had everyone laughing (IYKYK!) A huge thank you to @realbedfordnetball, Future Academy, the tournament bench officials and umpires, and the Real Bedford coaches for stepping in to umpire as well. Most importantly, the girls created lasting memories, experienced great netball, and continued to grow together as a team. We couldn’t be prouder of them! 🧡#caymanfury #caymanfuryontour

Our U12s made us incredibly proud last weekend at the @intlnetballclassic tournament, competing against strong opposition across their 6 games and showing real determination and skill every step of the way. The team showcased everything they’ve been working on throughout the Fury season — strong defensive play, relentless drive down the court, and some fantastic finishing goals. Finishing 4th in their pool, they went on to face the top team from the other group in their final match. One of the youngest teams in the competition, our girls faced opponents who were at times 2 years older but were completely unfazed by this — consistently demonstrating skill, passion and teamwork every time they stepped on court. What an incredible opportunity it was to train with @gabsimpson and @katiewalker_bbr on Friday as part of our @intlnetballclassic weekend 🏐 Spending an hour with two Queensland @firebirdsqld professional players was a true privilege — one our girls and coaches absolutely loved and won’t forget anytime soon. Cayman Fury’s first international trip was this past weekend and we started with a group fun day at @xtremeactionpark. Trampolining, pizza party and some arcade time, all before we headed off to meet to international netball players from the Queensland Firebirds for a training session. #caymanfuryontour #caymanfury

Less than two weeks before we head to Florida with 22 players and 32 parents for the International Netball Classics tournament. It will be a netball packed weekend with some additional fun challenges and activities, including a team dance. Here’s ours in all its fabulous glory! In just three weeks, Cayman Fury will step onto an international stage for the very first time as we travel to Fort Lauderdale to compete in the International Netball Classics tournament. Competing in the U12 and U14 categories, we will face teams from the USA, Jamaica and the UK. Staying true to our inclusive philosophy, every player who met the school year eligibility, and was enrolled at the time of planning, was invited. Huge thanks to Claritas Legal, Collas Crill, @harneysglobal and @walkers_global who helped make this trip more accessible by supporting financial assistance for players. Teamwork looked a bit different on court yesterday when a team from Turtle Netters and the Socialites came down to play our girls in some friendly games. Court time is so important for our girls’ development and for nurturing their growing love of netball!
