Set up in 2024, Cayman Fury Netball Club (the “Club”) is a registered nonprofit club in the Cayman Islands that is run by and for netball enthusiasts. Sessions will be taught by seasoned and trained coaches who have experience of playing at an international level.
We seek to work alongside and complement the netball offerings already available in the Cayman Islands and to create more opportunities for girls to play and develop their netball skills. We hope that in building the Club, elementary and primary aged girls will have the opportunity to play regular games and, one day, compete internationally for the Club.
Carolynn brings more than 35 years of playing and coaching experience to Fury, spanning multiple levels of the game and several countries. Growing up in Australia, she played representative netball at state and national level across district, school and university teams.
Her playing career later took her internationally, including competing in the precursor to England’s Netball Super League, the Canadian Nationals, the Nations Cup in Singapore and, more recently, in Cayman.
Throughout her netball career, Carolynn has had the opportunity to be coached by some of the game’s most respected coaches, including Julie Fitzgerald, Jill McIntosh, Lisa Beehag and Rob Wright. A qualified coach and umpire, she brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to Fury.
She plays a key role in shaping how Fury’s players develop and progress and has a particular strength in identifying areas for development, both in individual players and across teams, and drawing on her extensive knowledge of drills and skills to build training around those needs.
Carolynn also brings considerable experience in organising and running rallies and competitions, helping to create fair and appropriate opportunities for players to put their skills into practice. That experience will be particularly valuable as Fury continues to expand its competitive opportunities and looks forward to hosting a rally of its own.
For Kerrina, netball has been a lifelong passion.
Growing up in Australia, netball was her primary sport. She played throughout school and progressed to A Grade level in Victoria before moving overseas and continuing her playing career internationally, representing both Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.
Her love of the game naturally developed into a passion for coaching and supporting the next generation of players. Kerrina has been invited to coach school teams at Cayman International School and has also been involved in developing junior netball programmes, creating opportunities for young players to learn, compete and grow within the sport.
An England Netball coaching-certified coach, Kerrina brings both playing experience and coaching knowledge to her work with young athletes. Her approach is centred on developing strong fundamental skills, confidence, teamwork and a genuine love for the game.
She is particularly passionate about creating opportunities for girls to experience the benefits of team sport — building friendships, resilience and confidence while developing their skills in a positive and supportive environment.
Through her coaching and involvement with Cayman Fury, Kerrina is committed to helping grow junior netball in the Cayman Islands and providing young players with the opportunity to discover just how special the sport can be.
Vicki’s love of netball comes from her own childhood memories of playing, being part of a team and the camaraderie that comes from stepping onto court together. When Cayman Fury began, her hope was to create those same experiences for her daughter and other girls in Cayman.
A few years on, Vicki is passionate about continuing to grow Fury as an inclusive club where girls from different schools, backgrounds and abilities can come together, build friendships and develop a genuine love of netball. She is constantly looking for new opportunities and experiences for the girls, both on and off the court, and new ways to strengthen the sense of community that sits at the heart of Fury.
As Club Manager, Vicki helps lead the direction and development of the club and is a constant presence courtside, supporting the girls, talking with parents and making sure everyone feels part of the Fury community. She also works to build relationships and partnerships across Cayman that can broaden the opportunities and support available to Fury players, from specialist input from a paediatric physiotherapist to a new concussion awareness workshop currently in development.
For Vicki, Fury is about much more than developing netball players. It is about creating a place where girls feel included, supported and excited to be part of something together.
We currently offer sessions for girls aged 10-14 at all skill levels. Spaces fill up fast, so head to our registration page to express an interest and find out if we have spaces available.

Yes — we’re playing proper games! Each Saturday, the girls get plenty of match play, usually in 10-15 minute quarters.
We organise the girls into teams based on age and experience and usually play against other Fury teams. We also actively look for opportunities across the island to play against other clubs and teams, giving the girls the chance to experience different competition and put their skills into practice.
We know weekends are busy, so we try to keep things running smoothly and as close to schedule as possible.
And yes, it’s Cayman — it’s going to be sunny and hot! Please make sure the girls arrive with plenty of water. By the end of the session, they should be tired, happy and feeling like they’ve had a proper game of netball.
by the end of the game.
